How to Connect Facebook Messenger to DMLY

Connect your Facebook Page Messenger to DMLY to send and receive messages directly from your unified Team Inbox, alongside WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, and Live Chat.

Before You Start

Make sure:

• You have Admin access to the Facebook Page

• The page is linked to a Meta Business Account

• You know your Facebook login credentials

Steps to Connect Facebook Messenger

Step 1: Log in to DMLY

1. Open the DMLY dashboard.

2. Log in using your credentials.

3. Select the appropriate workspace.

Step 2: Open Messenger Integration

1. From the left sidebar, click Integrations.

2. Under Messenger, click the Connect button

Step 3: Connect with Messenger

1. Click Connect with Messenger.

2. A new Facebook login window will open.

Step 4: Log in to Facebook

1. Sign in using the Facebook account linked to your Meta Business Account.

2. Grant all requested permissions.

Ensure you log in with an account that has Admin access to the Facebook Page.

Step 5: Select a Facebook Page

1. Choose the Facebook Page you want to connect.

   • Example: ABC Business

2. Click Next to continue.

Step 6: Choose Your Meta Business Account

1. Select the Meta Business Account associated with the selected page.

   • Example: ABC Business

2. Click Continue.

Step 7: Complete Initial Setup

1. Click Save to finalize the connection.

2. Within a few seconds, the status will update to Connected.

3. Click Got It to proceed.

Step 8: Open Messenger Settings

1. Click the Go To Messenger Settings button.

Step 9: Connect the Page

1. Select your Facebook Page again.

2. Click Connect Page to complete the Messenger integration.

After Connection

Once connected:

• Incoming Messenger messages will appear in the Team Inbox

• Agents can reply directly from DMLY

• Conversations can be assigned to team members

• Automations can be configured for Messenger

Testing the Connection

To confirm setup:

1. Send a message to your Facebook Page from a personal account.

2. Check the Team Inbox in DMLY.

3. Confirm the message appears and can be replied to.

Troubleshooting

If the connection fails:

• Confirm you are an Admin of the Facebook Page

• Ensure the page is linked to a Meta Business Account

• Log out of Facebook and reconnect

• Remove the integration and reconnect if needed
