The Bulk Import feature in DMLY allows you to upload multiple contacts at once using a CSV file. This is ideal for migrating contacts, importing CRM data, adding event attendees, or uploading marketing leads.
Before preparing your CSV file:
Go to Contacts
Click Bulk Import
Click Download Sample File
This ensures:
Your columns match DMLY’s required format
Field names are correct
Data is structured properly
Import errors are avoided
⚠ Always use the provided sample template to prevent formatting issues.
Open the downloaded file and enter your contact data.
The sample file includes:
name
countryCode
phone
tags
stage
notes
customFields
At minimum, you must fill:
name
countryCode
phone
You can also include:
tags
stage
notes
customFields

After filling the template:
Save the file as CSV
Return to Bulk Import
Drag and drop the file
or
Click to upload manually
DMLY will display a preview showing:
Name
Country Code
Phone
Tags
Stage
Notes
Custom Fields
Carefully verify:
Phone numbers are correct
Country codes are accurate
Tags are properly separated
Custom fields are formatted correctly
Once confirmed:
Click Import
DMLY will process the contacts
Do NOT include "+"
Do NOT include spaces
Do NOT include special characters
Enter country code separately
Correct:
countryCode: 65
phone: 87654321If a phone number already exists:
The contact may be updated
Tags may be appended
Duplicate records are avoided
Check your plan usage:
Contacts Usage: 21 / 10000If your import exceeds your limit, upgrade or purchase add-ons.
Always download and use the sample template
Clean your list before importing
Remove unsubscribed contacts
Test with a small batch first
Double-check formatting before uploading
